What are you doing?

What are you doing? Have you been living life to the fullest with the abundant life that Jesus spoke about in the scripture? Living the life that God wants for you is simple, but not easy.  Think about where you are in life in different areas like your career, finances, love, and all the other roles that you have and hats that you wear. Think about if you are content. Then, think about are you pleasing God? Are you doing what He called you to do? Doing what God called you to do will make you content and free and is the most important thing. The Bible speaks in John 10:10 and say s, " The thief does not come except to steal, and to kill, and to destroy. I have come that they may have life, and that they may have   it   more abundantly." Jesus came that you may have the abundant life. Do you have a vision for your life or are you existing haphazardly? God has a purpose for you! What are you doing? Over the next few posts, we will be doing some vision work, 2 minutes at a time.

Always Pray!

Always Pray! Never stop praying. Praying is a direct connection to God. Take advantage and make use of this avenue. Think about it! You get to speak straight to God and thank Him, give Him your requests, ask for forgiveness of sins, pray for others, and the list goes on.

The Bible teaches to be clear minded and self-controlled so that you can pray (1 Peter 4:7). Prayer is so important to daily living. Pray everyday. Pray often. Pray several times each and every day. Thank God for a new day. Thank Him for your loved ones. Thank Him for your situations, both good and bad, because all things are working out for the good (Romans 8:28).

When you don't pray, the enemy has gains an opportunity to influence your mind. If you not talking to God, who do you think is talking to you? When you don't pray, you will grow weak spiritually. It is best to always pray!  Never stop praying.

Pray without ceasing (1 Thessalonians 5:17). This verse is sandwiched between Rejoice (v 16) and in every thing give thanks (v 18).  This means that prayer is the heart of the sandwich.  Without prayer, how can you rejoice and give thanks?

Even when you are not sure what to say, just take time out to do it. It shows your faith, it grows your faith, and it molds your faith.

Be encouraged today. It is a new day with every opportunity to start or continue praying.

Prayer is a weapon.  It is one of the tools we have to advance the kingdom of God.  Use it.

Pray!
